About Diamonds

Colored diamonds are present in a wide color spectrum: Black, yellow, blue, green, pink, orange, purple, and red. It is the intensity and saturation of the color that is most important in evaluating such diamonds. The value of naturally colored diamonds increases as the intensity of the color diamond dominates. The classification of fancy-colored diamonds is a complex process combining color grading in three aspects: Color (to determine the color name such as red, green or blue), hue (to determine whether the color is light or dark) and saturation (to determine how strong or clear the color is).
